This is usually the time of year that people we know avoid me.  Yes, I come bearing gifts of zucchini, eggplant and tomatoes. They like the first gifts but then they have exhausted their knowhow of how to prepare these items and would rather... more

I am still alive, and you are wearin my brain out! LOL
I just can't think of anything else. I can't seem to come up with just the right name for the new Dance Hall!
Still thinking though!

You See the World Through Blue Colored Glasses
You live your life with tranquility. You have faith that things will work themselves out with time.
You judge all your interactions through the lens of hope. You try to get all the facts before forming your opinion.

You face challenges with wisdom. You know that all bad things pass, and you have the confidence to see problems through.
You see love as the utmost expression of trust. Your relationships tend to be peaceful and stable.

At your worst, you can be cool, melancholy, and detached. You sometimes have to step back from emotionally charged situations.
You are at your happiest when you are able to reflect and relax.

HomeWhat is a Rural Diva?
Someone who was born, bred, educated in the city. I had a dream of moving to a farm. Not an uncommon dream, I am told. I found out the hard way. This is not the life that I anticipated. I'm not adverse to hard work, but painting an interior of a house three times to keep the paint from rolling off was just the beginning. It only went down hill from there.
We planted numerous gardens. Some for beauty, some for cutting, some for a spaghetti garden. Nothing has worked for us. Not for lack of trying, or for investigating the how-to books. Everything simply wilts in July. A blight....who knows.
So I am left with raising my twenty some cats. Sharing space with my daughter and husband. And generally at wits end.
I speak to no one. They are not friendly folks. Come here's are frowned upon. New ideas are looked at as 'new fangeled' traps.
So I muddle through my days making people laugh at my blogs. Learning all I can about homeopathic remedies for my cats and dogs. Reading everything in sight. But if I have a choice I prefer a good mystery. I love art.....to admire. On a really good day I will restore furniture.
